Barreto Track Trencher now in stock January 28, 2012

The new Barreto Track trenchers have arrived and ready to rent at both locations.  They will dig up to 36″ deep and will leave a 4″wide trench.  The Shark Tooth Combination digging chain will make digging in most types of ground an easy job.  The units will have a tilt deck trailer available if needed.  Contact the location nearest you and speak to one of our rental professionals for more information.

Bobcat T-630 Track Loader Now Available

The Bobcat T-630 Track Loader is part of the new Bobcat M-Series lineup.  Our units have enclosed cabs and offer both heat and airconditioning.  The loader is 80″ wide and has tracks that are 17.7″ wide offering 4.4 lbs. per square inch ground pressure.  The lifting capacity is 2230 lbs. and the units weigh aproximately 9000 lbs.  Contact the branch nearest you for more information and rates.

New Computer Software   

EZE rent-it Centre has entered into an agreement with Texas based software provider Point-of-Rental to provide Enterprise software and support for our two existing locations and future locations.  The transition from our old software to the Point-of-Rentals Enterprise software was seamless.  Under the direction of Earl Sherman one of POR’s Training  specialists it was exciting to see what we were able to do.  This is our 4th software system in 25 years and the transition was truly impressive.  We are able to scan the new BC drivers licenses reducing the time to set up a new customer record while eliminating several questions for the customer to answer.  Things like emailing a quote or an equipment information sheet in seconds.  Better inventory control will allow us to increase utilization reducing disapointment for customers wanting certain types of equipment during peak seasons.   Our charge account customers will appreciate the electronic signature capture feature.  This feature will allow us to email an invoice copy with a signature on it.  The system will also allow us to become greener as we will see a sharp reduction in our paper consumption.  Looking for a quote on a piece of equipment?  Just give the location nearest you a call and they can email or fax it to you in seconds.  Its just that EZE!!

Damage Waiver Program Update

New reduced ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE WAIVER rate.  We have completed a comprehensive review of our damage waiver program and made a major change in the program.  We have removed the mysteriouos loss and theft components from the program based on the claims we have encountered since the program was implemented some 5 years ago.  This has also resulted in a rate reduction from 14% to 9%.  Ask one of our Rental Professionals for all of the details associated with the program.
